A zero-day exploit circulating online allows people with physical access to a Windows 11 system to bypass default BitLocker protections and gain complete access to an encrypted drive within seconds.
As part of Patch Tuesday earlier this week, Microsoft also released a Windows 10 cumulative update: KB5094127. However, after installing this patch, some Windows 10 users are experiencing issues.
To fix the “Cannot install Windows, BitLocker Drive Encryption is enabled on selected partition” error, suspend BitLocker via Settings or Control Panel, or use your recovery key to unlock the drive.
