The amount of code being created by AI at Google has grown as the company pushes staff to adopt coding assistants and agents.

Sundar Pichai revealed that about 75% of new code at Google is now AI-generated, with engineers focusing on reviewing and guiding AI outputs instead of writing everything themselves.
