In system design, Redis is a helper — not a lifeline. Here’s how to survive a Redis crash. Example: Product page loads slower, but it still loads. ⸻ 2️⃣ Add Rate Limiting 👉 Protect the database from sudden traffic spikes when cache is gone. Example: Instead of 50K hits/sec, only a safe number reaches DB. ⸻ 3️⃣ Use Redis Replicas / Cluster 👉 Keep multiple Redis
