Faux Loc/ Soft Loc Install and Removal Here is another method that shows how to install and remove faux locs. This is the folding method. After braiding or twisting the clients hair/ your hair, you will then use a crochet hook to fold the hair. This will allow you to have shorter wrapping time. I personally only use this method when the client has fine hair. If the clients hair is too thick, when you fold the hair it will cause the top portion on the loc to be bigger than the actual faux loc its
