Often we think of triggers as something to avoid at all costs…to call someone out for doing to us, to fear. But triggers are signals to us. They highlight our areas of existing pain and needed attention. One option is to use these as guides in our healing process, rather than fully fearing them or feeling afraid of them. Maybe this sounds scary to you, but in some ways this can be a liberation. Be curious, be interested…and perhaps use these signals as a guide to heal further. #traumahealing #tr
