Most RV’ers grab themselves a new bed for their rig. What they DON’T think about, is how the weight of that bed will be too heavy for the gas struts underneath. Especially if you do what we did (and many others do) and get a non standard RV bed. We have been living with 80lb struts for far too long. Fortunately, etrailer has every size we could think of and the mounting hardware (in case we needed to change something out). So, we grabbed ourselves two new struts for the bed, two for the tool box
