The sixth locomotive in CSX’s new heritage series is here! Locomotive 1850, designed and painted at the CSX Locomotive Shop in Waycross, Georgia, honors the Louisville & Nashville Railroad. Originally chartered in 1850, the L&N grew into a vital transportation link between the Gulf Coast and the nation’s heartland.
