Unlike leopards, lions aren’t natural tree climbers—their large size and weight make it difficult. However, in certain parts of Africa, like Uganda and Tanzania, some lions have adapted to climbing, possibly to escape the heat, insects, or other threats. Spotting two full-bellied male lions lounging in a tree is an incredibly rare sight, as their heavier build and lower agility make climbing even more challenging than it is for females.
