Biting 🦷 Many mothers feel their breastfeeding journey must come to an end when the baby starts biting. Biting often happens when teething, distracted, bored, due to tension, or for attention (making eye contact can help prevent biting). If baby is biting due to teething, try and treat before feeding (teething toy, cold cloth, rubbing gums, a small chunk of frozen breastmilk, Camilia drops). When baby bites, gently slide your finger into your baby’s mouth or bring baby in towards your breast .
