Cheers and applause filled the Mohawk Valley Community College campus during the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Utica on Oct. 4, one of more than 600 events nationwide raising awareness and funds for research, care and support. The Utica/Rome walk raised over $58,000 with participants carrying color-coded flowers to show their connection to the disease.
