On April 21, 1994 WCW Saturday Night was taped at the Center Stage Theater in Atlanta, Georgia. Just four days after their classic match at Spring Stampede, Ricky Steamboat and Ric Flair squared off for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Flair won the match to become a 12-time World Heavyweight Champion. The match wouldn’t air on TBS until May 14th. | Davenport Sports Network

On June 23, 1994 WCW Clash of the Champions XXVII took place in North Charleston, South Carolina from the North Charleston Coliseum. In the main event, WCW World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair and WCW International World Heavyweight Champion Sting faced off in a unification title match.
