🛳Let's Learn Radar Terms! 🛳 After sight and hearing of lookout, Your collision avoidance will be mostly derived from the infos on your radar. It is important to understand these terms. The data in this video is from AIS and is ground stabilized. We will discuss later the ARPA target and sea stabilized. They almost have the same terms though. Positive TCPA means the target is still approaching. Negative TCPA means the target is already past. Positive BCR means the target will cross ahead of you
