German 88mm FlaK in Action | WW2 Soldiers

The Flak 37 or 88mm Flak Gun was one of the deadliest anti-tank weapons of the war. Firing an 88mm round, it could penetrate the heaviest Allied armor. During one engagement in Operation Goodwood in 1944, the Flak 88 knocked out an estimated 40 tanks in one day. Being crucial for aerial and physical defense, German soldiers greatly valued them and took time to place them accordingly. Often times, they were towed by an Sdkfz 7 Halftrack which had a towing capacity of 17,600lbs. In the video below
