I always get a lot of compliments after shows about how beautiful the 12 string sounds… to be honest, when I started playing properly when I was 16. It’s the direction I would’ve gone had nobody told me that the six string was where I should start… now that I’m a bit further along in my career, and my calluses are strong enough.
