The Peroneus Longus is a muscle that wraps along the bottom of the foot to the ball of the big toe. When it is contracted correctly, it can assist in arch and foot support. Runners who have suffered from plantar fasciitis, posterior tibialis tendinopathy or shin splints and people with bunions all know just how important strengthening the bottom of the foot 🦶 can be.
