Unboxing the Pro-Ject Debut Evo 2 today. Been wanting to try this one for a while. Coming from the Dual CS 429, this feels like a nice step up: heavier damped platter, quieter motor, and a tonearm that plays beautifully with higher-end cartridges. It comes with the Pick it MM Evo, a collab between Ortofon and Pro-Ject made specifically for this turntable. I’ll enjoy it stock for now, then probably move up to a 2M Blue or Bronze later on.
