This was my first time wood turning with resin on the lathe. The project wasn't a complete fail, and it was fun to turn a log into something cool, but it definitely didn't turn out how I planned. I am an absolute beginner, but I did learn a lot about pouring resin (especially what not to do) and it was cool adding a little bit of color to the resin. Most of the time when I woodturn with resin it's to stabilize a cracked or holey log, but this time I did it just to see how it would look to add resin to a natural edge bowl.
