The CSX Responder Incident Training train stopped in Indianapolis, IN, for rail safety training with local first responders. Our #ONECSX team trained nearly 180 participants from six Indianapolis Fire Department stations, county and state hazmat teams, and experts from leading environmental services companies. From essential rail safety basics to immersive hands-on sessions, we're dedicated to equipping our first responders to safeguard our communities in the event of a rail emergency. #Together

The CSX fleet of heritage locomotives is growing again with the introduction of CSX 1897, painted in a custom design honoring the Monon Railroad. Also known as The Hoosier Line and the Chicago, Indianapolis, and Louisville Railway, the Monon Railroad connected Chicago and Louisville, operating almost entirely in Indiana.
