The final episode of the 1940 Yiddish film “Overture to Glory” (Der Vilner Shtot-Khazn). It is the story of the Vilna cantor was for ten years one of the most popular cantors of Vilna, then convinced to leave his family and his people to move to Warsaw, where he became a leading opera star.
