In honor of the Fourth of July, I wanted to make a cake inspired by the amazing fireworks shows that are put on every year! This cake is made with my go-to chocolate layer cake (made with black cocoa), and frosted with my black cocoa american buttercream. I made the different colors of buttercream using americolor gel food coloring, and placed each color into a piping bag fitted with a small round frosting tip. Fireworks bundt cake1 box white cake mix ingredients to make the cake, usually eggs, oil and water Red food coloringBlue food coloring 1 can vanilla frosting (or homemade)Red, white and blue sprinklesPreheat oven to 350°FGenerously butter and flour a bundt cake panMix together the cake mix ingredients according to the package instructions. Divide the batter evenly into 3 bowls. Add 1 tsp of the blue food coloring to 1 bowl and mix well. Add 1 tsp of the red food coloring to 1 bowl and mix well.
