A glimpse behind the scenes at feeding time for this green heron patient. This bird was brought to us after being found with puncture wounds from an unknown predator and is receiving treatment for its injuries. Green herons can be finicky eaters in captivity, but this one seems to be enjoying the live minnows our volunteers are serving up.
