Potty training 4-week-old kittens This is how I transitioned B&G from peeing/pooping where they slept to using a regular litter box. Some kittens transition to a box right away, but B&G didn't want to use the box, so I did a gradual transition from pads-pellets-clumping litter. I bought these low plastic boxes from a dollar store. I don't use the clumping litter (unscented) until they are a bit older, as they tend to munch on them. I introduce them to the clumping kind but I monitor them careful
