It ain’t easy being green 🐸 Tree frogs have always been some of my favorite animals to encounter and this was one I could’ve easily missed while on a morning hike! It’s not hard to see how this green tree frog gets its name with that beautiful sheen of light green that helps to obscure this animal in its leafy habitat. These lovely frogs are mostly active at night and so seek refuge during the day, relying on that camouflage to keep them safe. I found my first green tree frog at my grandparents
