Reactive dogs will do other things we can manage and correct, micro reactions. We do this before we approach the macro reactivity. The dog sees the door open and the dog enters the car is the same thing as the dog sees a trigger and displays aggression for example. It’s on impulse, on sight, without thought. A macro reaction is when it’s big and embarrassing but it’s also too late to teach. So we use micro reactions and small mistakes to start when we work with reactive or impulsive dogs. 3 door
