Pickling is a great way to preserve fruits and vegetables. Here’s a basic pickling brine you can use to pickle lots of different things from your garden. Basic brine (will fill 2-3 quart size jars): 2 cups water, 2 cups distilled 5% white venegar, 3 Tbsp pickling or Kosher salt, 2 cups white sugar (for sweet brines).
