❌️A mistake that thankfully only ruined the router bit. When cutting dovetail inlay, I always scribe first then router out the waste. Since it had been several months since the last time I routered inlay that I made an obvious and critical error. I started with the router bit at the full depth of the inlay causing the bit to bind and snap.
