Shape-note singers keep an American tradition alive

We had shape note, singing school today, the first of three sessions. I cannot tell you how much I think this beneficial for our Young musicians with their ear training! Thank you, Jeremy Shipp for coming to teach us! Parents, encourage kids to open up and sing, we had about 75% engagement as far as that goes. Some kids are shy about it, they won’t get the full benefit of learning this style if they won’t sing with us. And a big round of applause for the kids who were singing their hearts out! Y
