Losing Simba is still something we cannot fully put into words. This video holds his final moments. The quiet ones. The moments that live with us, especially as the holidays approach and his birthday comes closer. Times when his absence feels heavier and the space he left feels impossible to sit with. Not long after, we lost Luce and Manny too. January and February changed us forever. So much love, so much loss, all so close together. It has been a journey I never imagined we would have to walk.
