Why do butterflies drink turtle tears? 🐢💧 The behaviour is called mud-puddling, or simply puddling. Groups of butterflies can sometimes be seen, particularly during the hot summer months, seeking out moist areas such as rotting plant matter, mud, dung and even the tears of other animals!
